Serafina is a first-class belly dancer, known throughout the tri-state area and beyond for her elegant and charismatic performances. Audiences love the beauty, warmth, and emotional connection she brings to her dance, and many hire her annually for their most important celebrations and theme nights. Her proficiency for dancing to a wide range of music, from classical Egyptian pieces to modern Bollywood hits, both pre-recorded tracks and live arrangements, makes her a versatile performer and a true crowd pleaser.
In more than ten years of belly dancing professionally, Serafina has performed at lavish weddings and corporate events in high-end banquet halls, informal backyard birthday parties, fine dining Middle Eastern restaurants, and nightclub-style hookah lounges—not to mention a boxing ring, a movie theater, a pumpkin farm, and an airplane hangar! She specializes in traditional Middle Eastern dance with veil, finger cymbals, and cane, as well as artistic fusion performances with wings, sword, candles, and flaming sword. No matter what you envision for your party, Serafina can design a show to perfectly complement your theme.

heart of a dancer
Serafina discovered her love of Middle Eastern dance at Serena Studios in Manhattan, where she studied intensively with Serena Wilson, Diamond Salome, and Jenna, among other "Serena Technique" instructors. Since she first performed as a student of the Vintage Oriental (American Cabaret) style at age 17, Serafina has trained with a variety of instructors in order to broaden her dance horizons. She is certified in Sahra Saeeda’s Journey through Egypt 1, and currently studies with Habiba of Philadelphia, where she has performed with the Habiba Dance Ensemble.
Serafina appears at Marhaba in Lambertville, NJ, on Fridays; at Byblos in Philadelphia on select Sundays; and at Trilogy in Philadelphia on the last Wednesday of each month. She also performs in Perth Amboy, NJ, at Troy Restaurant and at many larger events at Royal Albert's Palace in Fords, NJ. Check out the Events page and come see a show—you won't be disappointed!
